Project Implementation
The areas which benefited from this project are unlimited. The five prototypes were tested in the Los Angeles area. The miles driven could be estimated to cover a large portion of Southern California.
Project Results Description
For each AEM driven in lieu of a single-occupant, late model automobile, on a 5-mile one-way commute, the AEM will eliminate 1 pound of hydrocarbons, 11 pounds of carbon monoxide, and l pound of NOx, for each workday.
